The big challenge when advertising for sports fans is the segmentation as sports fans don’t like ads for products that are not their teams or sports they don’t follow.
The templates were built using smart objects in Photoshop, making it possible to easily create variants for other markets and campaigns. I also simplified the creation of animated gifs, allowing 500Level to maximize screen real estate.
A better tailored segmentation significantly improved the engagement from an 18% average CTOR to 32% for city specific campaigns.
